Often the daily demands of work, education and home become overwhelming and stressful. As a result many of us suffer from fatigue, mental and emotional stress, anxiety, and irritability. Often these feelings over time can lead to the manifestation of physical ailments. We are here to help.
We recognize and understand that everyone processes information differently. Our personal experiences shape our view of the world. Our goal is to create awareness. We offer solutions that give clients a choice. What works for some does not work for all, and we embrace that notion!
Our programs in both the workplace and classroom are designed to rewire and rework thought patterns by offering mindful activities and strategies to bring our clients into improved self-awareness and increased self-regulation. We help to bring the present moment into focus and offer clients the opportunity to mitigate overly emotional responses when under stress.
The benefits of developing a mindful practice can have a positive impact on overall health and well-being. Mindfulness in the classroom for children can aid in cognitive development, increased self-awareness, improved focus, increased memory and improved classroom behavior. Mindfulness in the workplace can help mitigate stress, enhance tolerance and objectivity, improve productivity and overall mental health of employees.
The term mindfulness is often mistaken for a meditation practice. While this can be a tool in a daily mindful practice, mindfulness is so much more. Awareness, positivity, self-regulation, compassion, kindness and presence are all a part of a mindful skill set.
